Business tips from GÎMXPORT through 5 video clips

To celebrate its 25th year of excellence, the team at GÎMXPORT has prepared a few business tips for the businesses of our region that will be broadcasted as short video clips. The organization launches today the first clip on its Web site, social media and newsletter. Ève Dupré-Gilbert, Senior marketing advisor, presents two tips : « Capitalize on business intelligent » and « Think like a customer ». Paule Ménard-Pelletier, director of sales and marked development at Couleur Chocolat (Sainte-Anne-des-Monts) is shown delivering a short testimony.

Four more capsules will be released by the end of the year 2021. The subjects that will be addressed are the importance to work as a community, master your logistics, innovate to perform better, recruit talent, formulate a plan and write it down, be open to your market and new opportunities, learning to prioritize, trust your potential.

GÎMXPORT celebrating 25 years of excellence!

The year 2021 marks the 25th anniversary of GÎMXPORT. The organization would like to use this special year to share precious advice to the region’s business community as well as to promote our member’s inspiring initiatives.

As we already know that many more businesses are ready to follow suit, GÎMXPORT continues its efforts to raise awareness to their immense potential on the markets. »

Our distance from the larger demographic areas, which has long been perceived as an obstacle to our development, is no longer relevant according to the general manager Gino Cyr. « With remote working now well established, businessmen and businesswomen can now manage their businesses from every corner of the world and hire specialized resources from everywhere. There is no limit! »

The ancestor to GÎMXPORT, the marketing secretariat for the Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine administrative region, was founded in 1996. In 2008, assuming its rôle of catalyst of growth for businesses on external market, the organization adopted a new name, more representative of its mission, GÎMXPORT. Partner in the economic development of Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine, it offers a multitude of services such as marketing, exportation, transportation and logistics as well as innovation and productivity. Representing around a hundred regional businesses, it also organizes trade delegations, bespoke training, and merit recognizance activities.
